The ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’ was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dubai shopping festival. It is the world’s longest handmade gold chain. Weighing close to 240 kilograms and measuring to about 5 kilometres in length, the chain took 45 days and 100 artisans in its production. It was cut into pieces and sold to the customers.
